Thank You for Supporting the 2011 CFC!
Since its inception in 1961, the Combined Federal Campaign has served the philanthropic needs of Federal employees in the workplace. The CFC has been a powerful source of funding for charitable organizations locally, nationally and globally, and continues to be the most efficient way for Federal employees to raise maximum dollars at a minimal cost. The Greater Hartford Combined Federal Campaign is proud to celebrate this milestone by thanking local Federal employees for their kindness and generosity.
We would like to thank the Federal community for its continued support of the Greater Hartford Combined Federal Campaign, and raising nearly $307,000 in 2011 to assist charities locally, nationally and globally. The chart below indicates how those dollars were designated. The CFC continues to be the most efficient way for Federal employees to make charitable contributions and we would like to thank you for your kindness and generosity.

Mission Statement
In 1961, President John F. Kennedy established one annual fundraising campaign for Federal employees. The mission of the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is to promote and support philanthropy through a program that is employee focused, cost-efficient, and effective in providing all federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all.
As the world's largest and most successful annual workplace giving campaign, each year, more than 300 CFC campaigns throughout the country and internationally help to raise millions of dollars. Each fall, pledges made by Federal civilian, postal and military donors during the campaign season support eligible non-profit organizations that provide health and human service benefits throughout the world. The Director of the Office of Personnel Management has designated to the Office of CFC Operations (OCFCO) responsibility for day to day management of the CFC.
This site has been reviewed and approved by the Greater Hartford Local Federal Coordinating Committee for the 2010 CFC campaign. |
